There will be a temporary suspension of this blog as we will be Albuquerque for the next week or so because Dwight is having a heart operation. Please pray for him and keep him in your thoughts.
Guess who's moved to New Mexico!!
The boy from New York City apparently arrived via freight!!
But he's thrilled to have his feet on the Terra Firma of New Mexico!
Cause he's got a lotta exploring to do.....
Not to mention working on his musical career......
Boy! He loves those magical shoes!!
He's also now a photographer--Joaquinn took this one of his mama!
Boys can do anything!!!
Even have soulfull modeling careers.....
Welcome home !! We're thrilled that you have blessed our humble state!

This woman is very happy with her garden and because it is a special day......
Dwight and Diana's 18th Wedding Anniversary!
We are off to our favorite restaurant Dinner For Two to celebrate!
A toast to eighteen wonderful years!!
Dwight is beardless for the first time in decades. He will be having a heart operation this week and the doctor wanted him to shave his beard to avoid infection.
Diana's main dish: Chilean Sea Bass....
Food as art--this is Dwight's crab cakes......
"The wedge".....Dwight's salad....

Orange Sesame Shrimp with seasoned calamari and shoots and Thai Chocolate Chile Sauce--Yes, we eat like this!
Fancy bell pepper soup...
And then there's desert!
For Dwightie too!
A memorable day and the celebration of eighteen happy years!! And to think they said it would never last!!

We're off to Albuquerque for a Father's Day barbecue at the Paton household....
And a chance to see new baby Landon!
Chace (Chase) was busy with his video games.....
And Daniel was intent on reading WAR AND PEACE....
But Baby Landon was busy discovering the whole wide world.....
Including hugs from Shelly....
And Aunt Tricia. Although he seems a little less than thrilled about it.....
There's no arms like Mommie's!
On the way home, we stopped at the Mormon Battalion Monument to see what it was all about.....
After reading the plaque, we were pretty disappointed and decided we liked it better as "The Halfway Marker".

It's a big day--and an UNUSUAL day--at Cielo Azul.....
The proprietors are excited because their home is being used today for a photographic shoot for a national magazine.....
PLAYGIRL!!!!
Everything was arranged by Artistic Director, and Family friend, Corrine!
It takes a big crew to get the job done....

And the bystanders were included in the snacks....
Alice was happy to meet all the polite young models....
And Diana instructed on the famous "skirt shot"...

The shoot replicated a mini-Fiesta party....
With the boss-lady doing all the planning...
And some of the cooking....
Dwight flexes his muscles--hoping for a big break in the male modeling business...
But the competition is rather steep...

Giano was happy to help out....
Dre poses...
Diana wacks...
The Big Boss works...
The camera crew relaxes....

Nick poses...
Some models relax between shoots...
We are thrilled to see the little girl--correction: this little powerhouse!
Paul poses....
Photographers extraordinaire....

The living room shoot begins--we were not privy to the nude portion of the shoot.
Giano is bemused...
The girls get a little sun on the lawn....
Alice watches from her private spot in the shade in the Fern Room....
There is down time for the models not in the current shoot....

Jadian waits his turn.....
As do Nick and Andrew....
The girls in the shoot are actually editors for the magazine....
This has been fun for Carlitos....
Diana instructs the girls on the proper way to pose in fiesta dresses....

Dwight's truck is festooned for some shots....
Up close and personal....
Getting ready for the group shot....
preparing a festive table.....
And having some sun with the pinata....

Alices watches the goings-on....
Giano is about to crack up....
Even the kitties are amazed.....
But the fun continues....
As the crew relaxes....

And enjoys a Mexican feast.....
The final shot was in the driveway. (Diana was not really in it.)
But she was in the feast shot!
And truly enjoyed the experience with the professional and kind crew and the nice respectful models!
And a good time was had by all!! Click on image to enlarge photo.
