A red-carpet affair!!--The Santa Fe Chamber of Commerce Awards Banquet, because.................
I had the honor of being selected as Bienvenidos (a Chamber auxiliary) Volunteer of the Year!........................
Joy, out new president and Joann and Jerry, our out-going co-presidents were also in attendance............................
Due to budget restraints, instead of a sit-down dinner, we were treated to a vast array of appetizers from about forty or so Santa Fe Restaurants. The eateries were most generous and put on their finest spreads because they had an opportunity to impress the very type of folks (ourselves excluded) who might have the bucks to spend at their places or to hire them as caterers for splendid affairs...................
Dwight is definitely enjoying the feast...............
Joy realizes that this is just one of many affairs she will be attending as Bienvenidos President.............
Was happy to run into high school friend Kathy--who is a big-wig at First National Bank......................
Speaking of "big-wigs"--even Santa Fe's mayor--David Coss--seems to be delighted to see my name up "in lights" as I receive my award..........................
"Oooooh Cyrus, you're so BIG and Tall".................................................
Hug, hug, kiss, kiss............................

It's Jerry's turn for his fifteen minutes of fame..............................
And a well deserved award.........Hey, his "lambe-ware" is bigger than my "lambe-ware"!.......................
