After five long weeks of searching, it is now time to reach the sad acknowledgement that Natasha, our oldest pet, is not coming home.....
Natasha came to us as a kitten via the children's pet at their Father's house, Cheyenne. I can still see little Giano, still a young child himself, bringing that fluffy grey kitten down our driveway for the first time! Natasha was the pick of the litter and was a gorgeous creature all her life! She was loving and gentle to the children and especially to Dwight, but she did not suffer fools kindly. She was always "the Cat in charge" and remained so to the end. She was a large cat and a large presence in our lives. She had mentored various other cat buddies who have preceded her in death: Lucy, Charlie and Rory Capshaw and was in the process of welcoming Topaz. She was engagingly tolerant of the dogs and will be missed by Midori, MeiToy and Solange. There is a gaping hole in our lives right now that was filled by our elegant, beautiful Natasha--she will never be forgotten!
