The services were held at Our Lady of Sorrows Church in Bernalillo. Although the old church is closed, some of the beautiful artifacts from the old church are incorporated in the new--like this beautiful old baptismal font....
And some of the beautiful old statues of saints......
While it seemed inappropriate to photograph the memorial service or the mourners, it is comforting to think that Charlotte was surrounded by such beauty in her religious life.

The reception was held several miles south at El Pinto Restaurant in Albuquerque's North Valley...
Charlotte had planned all aspects of her memorial including the choice of this restaurant.

Entering this massive eating establishment...
The decor was inviting and the food delicious.......
El Pinto has the ambiance of an old hacienda.......
We enjoyed visiting with our relatives from the Montoya side of the family.......
On the way home, Danny took the road through Placitas--that is until we got to the point at which it was still closed for the winter!
