Because hidden within the vines is the old tire swing that must be set free, because..........

"Gee, I wonder if the kids will like me?" (Sadly, Solange, the answer will be "NO".)..............

"Well, this is a revolting development--I think I'll just go off by myself and pout".......................

But Mommie is insistent that the vines have to go...................(That's Mei Toy highlighted in the driveway)......................

So Dwight is busy pruning away so that his grandchildren can enjoy their favorite Santa Fe activity.................

And sure enough, the swing is ready when they all arrive..........................

Including little Landon--who we have not seen since he was barely a toddler......................

He's a little unsure about the tire swing, but his pretty mama is enjoying watching the older kids.....................

Gavin is going to be a High School Junior this year and apparently somebody hit him hard with a "handsome stick" this year.................

Ready to push--so far the kids are getting along fine taking turns swinging....................

And Eric is recording it all..........................

Yes, he IS a bonnie prince....................

Makenna squeals with anticipation as big brother Gavin gives her a push...........................

Now that he is at full football weight, he can no longer swing on the tire swing--he might bring the whole branch down.....................

Eric is ever vigilant for the safety of the kids....................

Grandpa gets to spend some quality time with his newest grandchild..................

And Diana is thoroughly charmed by the little guy as well.......................

Makenna has the "swing" of it now........................

And Gav makes sure that she keeps in motion...................

Chace is a true "Swingmaster"...................

Spending most of his turn parallel with the ground...................

Landon helps set the table for lunch. I had him count out two corn holders per place setting, but he kept saying "I can go much higher than "one, two"."..................................................

Nobody has a cuter helper!................

After lunch, Chace is game to walk down to the Plaza for some ice cream..............

The balloon man downtown suited him up with a medieval sword and a modern balloon bluetooth........................
