A TRIP TO BOSQUE DE APACHE...........

On a cool winter's morning, we're off to Bosque de Apache....

Of course, Zsa Zsa is unimpressed with all this early morning busyness.......

 

 But we will leave the pets in the fine company of Giancarlo.......

 After a trip to San Antonio and a delicious lunch at the Owl Cafe with our dear friends, we are off to Bosque de Apache.  Here we are at the Nature Center.  Bob and Margaruite, longtime Belen residents, served as out expert guides.......

 So, following-- in no special order-- are the sights of a lovely afternoon with the spectacular scenery of the "bosque" and the beautiful winter birds that call this area home for the winter months.  We spent the afternoon hours in the wet lands right up to the frenzy of the early evening flights of birds returning to the safety of the lakes for the night--beautiful sights and SOUNDS.......

 

 

 

And a great time was had by all!!  Good friends, good food, and the beauty of New Mexico--who could ask for more!!!
