He's baaaaach--Old Man Gloom is here again.....
Last week at a cocktail party to unveil his new look (note the mustache) , we got our first look at this year's "monster".....
And stuffed him full of all our troubles (as well as those we collected from friends and family). My "troubles" might well have started here where, as you can see in the photo, one of my bracelets slipped off and was burned with the beast......
Here he is being erected (note the puny human on the crane) to his colossal size. Some were upset with his speedo bathing suit, legs and pecs, but.......
In preparation for Zozobra's 100th birthday in 2024, this year the Kiwanins replicated a very early Zozobra from the 1920s. In an attempt to please everyone, at the time of the burning this year, the "legs" were untied revealing his traditional skirt and his bow tie was projected at his throat........
My traditional annual photo of me and my favorite "bad boy" (okay, my SECOND favorite Bad Boy) from our backyard.....
A few months ago, we lost a dear friend who had always been such a part of all our Fiesta celebrations, so his photo was posted so that.....
Along with his beloved family.....
All our guests can share a toast to and with Johnny because true friends will never be forgotten.....
In keeping with the 20s theme this year, we set up this "photo booth" background......
And promoted 1920s Fiesta attire to celebrate the end of all our troubles.....
Just as other Santa Fesanos did way back in the 1920s.
So, in no particular order, here are all your Zozobra Photo Booth photos. To retrieve your photos: click on the photo to open it up to full size; then right click on the enlarged photo and select "save as" from the menu; and save it to your computer wherever it woks for you; then back arrow back to the blog and continue to scroll down to any other photos you may have posed for (photos are arranged in a random fashion, not in the order they were taken.). If you do not have a printer, e-mail me at: beatlesmama@Yahoo.com with the number of your photo and I will print it for you. All photos are sized 4x6 inches.
