This is the story of a beautiful wedding cake that has been frozen for a five hour drive to the White Sands National Monument......
The cake is Giano's wedding gift to his cousin Rachel and this is the crew starting out after packing the cake in dry ice to keep it from melting....
Dwight wishes us well and sees us on our way.....
Once in Alamogordo, we gussie up for the nuptials....
Chiara looks like a fiftie's fashion plate.....
And Mommie is happy to have this time with her baby.....
We finally arrive at the wedding venue in the crisp white sands of White Sands.....

It rained last night and the light is really bright....
The father of the bride has arrived early to help set up the reception tent....
And the mother of the bride is dressed in the vintage theme....
Sisi, the bride's auntie, is a vision in yellow....
And the romance of the occasion is getting the Enciniases in a lovey-dovey mood.....

Diana is waiting for a possible missile test.....
And Dude is thinking about how far he is from Minnesota....
Angelica is also beaming inside the shade of the tent.....
"Hey, they test something else here too don't they? Something radioactive?"
Looks like the cover of a 1950s LOOK MAGAZINE.

Inside the tent, Toesette is helping set up the bar for the serving of two new drinks she invented for the occasion....
High Society Photographer....
Umbrella girls....
The happy groom--he should be warned that he is marrying into a family of....
Hams...

Hams....
And more hams.....
Not to mention, Movie Stars!!!
These guys have trekked down from Santa Fe....
The Grassi men....

Sometimes life imitates art....
A pretty smile from Zoe....
So chic, so adroitly casual.....
Raphael of Arabia....
Practicing for the wedding.....

Chris' aunt and uncle are ready for the ceremony to begin....
As is the mother of the groom...
And the grandmother of the bride....
Elliott has been awakened from his afternoon nap so that he won't miss the event....
So, all the preparations have been made--Let the wedding begin!
