We're off to the Plaza for our first meal at the fiesta booths....
Who do we spot on our way downtown?--Electra and her pal. At the conclusion of last evening's party, we found these two--total strangers to all of us--asleep (or passed out) in each other's arms on our Taos bed in the living room. After shaking them awake, the young man informed us that our house was Electra's ancestral home and that she had helped deliver her baby sister on that very couch. Of course this was all gibberish and after two attempts to expel the two, they finally staggered out our driveway about 12:30 a.m.. We don't know at whose ancestral home they slept the rest of the night, but they were wide awake by noon the next day and off to fiesta!
Once downtown, Frannie and Dwight get in line for green chile burgers....
While Dwight sets off for fresh fruit drinks, Frannie awaits the rest of the order....
Meanwhile, I spotted the visiting Taos Fiesta Royalty and they were kind enough to pose for me....
