When it is a cold January and we have Keekers with us at home, it is fun to have our usual Friday night La Choza take-out in the convivial atmosphere of the restaurant...............

Another January activity might be to attend a Bienvenidos Board meeting in the grand salon of the Fine Art Museum........

It is comforting that Pat has agreed to step in as president after the untimely death of our beloved Madame President--Joy...............

The gang begins arriving for a special treat..................

One they are willing to brave the frigid weather for..................

A delightful Museum tour for our own little group--followed by lunch in the Museum cafe.........

We began with a fact-filled explanation on the building and art work of St. Francis Auditorium...............

Our executive tour guide is totally knowledgeable--and really witty too............

One interesting tidbit was that the other artists who completed this suite of murals gave up their individual styles as a homage to their friend who passed away after finishing only one mural. They adhered so faithfully to his original style that it now looks like all the murals were done by only one artist..........................

The informative tour was a joy to one and all................

Kiki contemplates the polar bear plunge that she will be taking shortly in Minnesota............

"Dear Lord, Please don't let me ever be soooo drunk that I think running from a hot sauna over ice to a twenty foot channel continually being rebroken in the lake as it re-freezes and swimming from one end to the other in air temputures of 15 degrees below zero, could ever possibly be fun. AMEN."........................
