THE PORTRAIT--JANUARY 2012

 For a Christmas present for Dwight and myself, Kiki offered to paint a portrait for us.  So a few days into the new year she sets up her easel, prepares her wood (her preferred medium), and sets to work......

 And she works for days and days........

Taking a few breaks for such things as lunch at The Shed......

 And advice from big sister

 Then returns to work on every detail....

 And listen to lots of opinions.....

 And deal with unappreciative participants..........

 Until, at last, it's done and the critics arrive to proclaim their decision....

 The critics approve!..................
