BIENVENIDOS CHRISTMAS LUNCHEON
CATCHING UP ON MY BACKLOG..........this photo is from way back in early December 2012 as I prepare for the Bienvenidos Appreciation Luncheon which is at Christmas time this year.....
Winston thinks it's foolish to venture out when there are so many intriguing packing boxes from the Village to cavort in.....
But we members of Bienvenidos want to socialize in a Christmas themed setting at the old Howard Johnson's....
Where the tables have festive centerpieces of presents or....
Little mini Christmas trees.....
And more big trees in the lobby.....
It's a lovely setting setting with gifts for each member at their seat.....
It is a time for glamorous posing before the tree--Miss Angie is just as fetching as she was in this pose in her bathing suit on a shady West Gomez Road about 60 years ago......
It's time to thank the out-going officers for all their work.....
And to say goodbye to this winning President/Vice-President combo.....
And to welcome in the new slate of officers....
And to bribe them with little gifts that belie all the hard work ahead....
So, enjoy your presents, guys..........

And so started the 2012 Holiday Season.....
In retrospect--here's hoping that it was a totally wonderful Holiday Season and that: A GOOD TIME WAS HAD BY ALL!!!!!
