Our first interest was to see the Contemporary market....

The rain was our off and on companion all day...

Dwight examines some interesting collage works....

An artist with an
interesting face explains his stone works.....

Rob
Rael has a uniquely modern approach.....

There were lots of interesting photographs as well....

One of our favorite
artists--Judy Ortiz.....

And some of her more recent works....

My former student Justin....

And his artistic tin works.....

A stirring painting....

And more little wet men....

This girl and her goats were part of an exhibit in the courtyard of the museum depicting Spanish settler's way of life in centuries past....

He was depicting a typical Spanish
soldado....

All these lovely paintings
herald that we are approaching the booth of our favorite painter....

Clarence Medina of Dixon....

Dwight enjoys his new works....

And
Waymon poses with the artist --behind them is the newly plastered face of the new history museum. By next Spanish Market, the building should be complete.

Clarence discusses terms with some patrons....

One of our favorites....

This is one of Dwight's last outings using his "heart-hugger"....

This is Gabe Vigil with his
retablo that we watched him paint last week at the museum...

And this is his pretty young wife.....

His work has been selected for next year's Spanish Market Poster.

Diana in
Retablo-land....

Martha
Varoz--winner again in straw-applique....

And some of her works....

Rain, rain, go away.....

A lovely
bulto...

Dwight hugs the
loveliest lady in Santa Fe....

Lots of saints....

a break for lunch at The Shed....

Where we met our friend, Virginia Vigil....

Then back to the market...

There's so much to see....

And admire.....

And the rain begins in earnest....

Finally we head for home--happy to have seen another market!
