This is the stately Cathedral of St. Francis......
But it is now surrounded by scaffolding needed for a thorough cleaning and stabilizing of it's stone facade....

Lots of scaffolding......

This is the new view up from San Francisco street....

The Cathedral is now thoroughly enshrouded in plastic......

And at night it glows like a giant farolito!
