Let's go visit the ruins at Pecos National Monument!.............

At one time, one of the largest pueblos in New Mexico stood in this lovely spot.....

We decide to hike the ruins trail.................

From the bluff where the pueblo was situated, the Indians had a splendid and open view to the east to spot visitors or marauding plains tribes...............

A quiet moment down in one of the Kivas.............

Surprisingly, this spot is one of the most popular sites in New Mexico for weddings....

Mainly for the photography opportunities--although this is a less than flattering picture of Chiara, picture the bride all in white against all this rough adobe...............

This was a lovely day spent in a beautiful and solemn place.
