I had the privilege of hearing Ted Kennedy on the stump last year and this is one of my photos. He approached the podium with a faltering step, but once he started speaking, the energy and enthusiasm was amazing and he delivered a speech with substance, drama and humor. I am grateful to have had this opportunity and am very grateful to the man for all the good he has done for our American nation. He will be missed. Wednesday, August 26, 2009

Never cowed into running from the "liberal" word, but rather, he wore it with pride and power. The Kennedys shaped the world view of many of our generation, and we need to stand as strong as Teddy did to the very end.
