The sun rises on a clear Sunday morning.......
And drenches the Royal City in gold. Today is the last day of Santa Fe Indian Market..........

The garden looks like paradise, now in these wintry months, as I prepare to trek downtown.......
Topaz thinks it's crazy to leave the garden on such a lovely day..............

But I want to make it to the Indian Market Mass. La Conquistadora is wearing her Native American finery. This outfit reminds me of the ladies' wear from Isleta.................
La Familia is all at church..................
Sisi flounces her beautiful skirt and shows off her favorite accessory--Louie................

then it's a short walk to the Plaza...............
Where the early morning sunshine is welcoming the visitors.....................
Frannie D.--woman of the people......................
This colorful dancer is up early................
And all the splendors of Indian Market lay before us...................
Like this multi-award-winning quilt...........................

And these awesome painted carvings........................
Love the storytellers..................
And the Pueblo pottery is my favorite..................
Some whimsical bear pottery.................
And then there's the FOOD!................

Frannie is all settled down for her Indian breakfast..............
And Grandma is ready to eat--although all that turquoise seems to be beating the %#@&* out of that Navajo Taco............................
The Chavezes are ready to indulge...................
Yes sir, that's MY Baby.......................
Another charming Pueblo artifact...............
Some beautiful Plains Indian finery.....................
Maybe Louie can get some ideas for his tee-pee...................
I love the Market in the cool of the morning......................
You just GOTTA love this adorable clown.....................
More award-winning Pueblo pottery. My favorite piece of the whole market is this butterfly bowl...................
Some exceptional art work....................
She's a CUTIE!.....................
Someone must be old enough to remember the anti-Japanese propaganda Zozobra of the War years........................
But not this girl--she's waaaaaay too young.................
Some Eskimo art--reminds me of those fantastic dancers we saw a few nights ago..............
My second favorite--these jazzy pottery Kachinas......................
On up on Lincoln Avenue, some of the more monumental marble pieces are on display..............
And another Oh-so-cute little clown..................
Back home, my own Oh-so-cute little white faced clown greets me.....................
Another Santa Fe Indian Market--AND A GOOD TIME WAS HAD BY ALL!
