A SUMMER FLOWER SHOW...............

I'm up early for a pleasant drive to Los Alamos for a summer flower show sponsored by the Santa Fe Flower Arrangers......

 Backdropped by the gorgeous quilt that the Santa Fe Rose Society is raffling off, the rose specimens are already set up......

 Most brought by Santa Fe's premiere rosarian, Jackie...........

 By now, I have forgotten the names of the different varieties, but here is a little sampling.....

I do remember the name of this beautiful specimen--Marilyn Monroe.  Just like the original Marilyn, she's blond, curvy and oh so heavenly......

 So, while the judging of the exhibits is being done, we take a lunch break at one of Los Alamos' most happenin' bistros for a delightful and delicious meal.......

 Once we get back to the show, Juanita is beaming with pride at the showing made by her beautiful entries.....
