THE CHAVEZ COLLECTION, PART III
Fiesta dresses, squaw dresses and skirts

Although we did an update this spring, Sisi had a few more dresses that did not get modeled, so we took advantage of the availability of young models when the girls were in town a few weeks ago to complete the inventory.......

In this iconic shot from the Spanish Market web site, la familia was captured on San Francisco Street with Sisi wearing her gorgeous striped skirt with a white peasant blouse....

But actually, the skirt has it's own matching top......

And it can be worn with this orange peasant blouse as well.....

Diana models a very generous and comfortable squaw dress with multicolored ric-rac,,,,,Marcello is unimpressed..........
Bianca is modeling a short sleeved bi-tone squaw dress with gold ric-rac.......

Jenny is modeling a skirt from her own collection with really giant ric-rac......

Here, a barefooted Sylvia models a classic creme squaw dress with gold ric-rac......

Diana in a bi-tone raincloth squaw dress.....
In this shot, you can get a better look at the silver ric-rac and black and silver braid trim...........

This is actually a child's Spanish Dance costume, but it looks great on Baby Binks....

Looking like a beautiful bride, Jenny models this Mexican Wedding Dress in the tranquility of Sisi's "white garden"..........
The models are getting restless--or praying for rain............
Diana in a cheerful yellow Mexican dress with black and white lace inserts.......
Bianca in a gorgeous Mexican painted velvet two piece dress with sequins...............
Jenny in another outstanding squaw dress--creme with rows and rows of gold ric-rac and braid.....
That also has pantaloons!!  And If I'm not mistaken, this set also has a matching stole.......

Now, if you're a good-looking hot New York Chick, like Jenny, you might just get away wearing just the top and pantaloons right down Broadway..............

This demure Mexican dress from the '70s is trimmed with tucking and ribbon.  It is part of Bianca's own collection........
This dress is another one that could be used as a wedding dress.  Although it has been modeled in a previous post, I just loved this sweet shot......
Here is something quite unique!--I call it the Beatnik Fiesta Outfit.  It is black cotton with tradition Squaw Dress trim of gold ric-rac,,,,,,
And it can also be worn loose for a casual look or if you are expecting a baby. (God forbid!).........

Banquita models another tiny dress that is loaded with silver and turquoise ric-rac......
So after a hard morning of "playing dress-up" the models retire to the Jambo Cafe for a delicious lunch.  If you still haven't found enough ideas on "what to wear for Fiesta?", kindly follow the link below to the rest of THE CHAVEZ COLLECTION:
