On one special evening we took a break from the hospital to visit Old Town.....
Because Baby Binks wanted to treat her mother because it was Diana's birthday!

She selected a fine restaurant with a lovely portal with a view of the activities on the plaza.....
Cell phones kept us in contact with the hospital.......
And with friends and family checking up on Dwight's condition--today, not so good--"critical, but stable".
This was a pleasant respite from the hospital....

There was a parish celebration being held in the church courtyard, so we were serenaded by mariachis and enlivened by really strong wind gusts.....

But Baby Binks kept her cool...
On our stroll back to the car, we enjoyed the sunset of a lovely day.....
And admired the armaments that have apparently kept Albuquerque safe for all these years...
