This is one of my cousin Cathy's nativities from her beautiful collection that made a splendid display on this wintry evening. In addition to the religious activities, the evening also includes a special meal.............

As we prepare to venture out into this cold night, are happy to be invited once again to this devout yet festive feast......

But at home, Topaz is casting a jaundiced eye at the goings on at home from her perch atop the empty holiday decorating boxes..............

At Cathy's the pilgrims have arrived at the door carrying Joseph and Mary requesting "room at the Inn".................

Father Jerome leads the series of prayers in which those outside ask admission and those inside refuse it..................

Finally the "insiders" relent and the Blessed Mother is rushed inside.............

Followed by Joseph--who is carried by that professional Mass Usher, Louie (Lou has even "passed the basket" at St. Patrick's Cathedral in New York City!)..............
