Memorial Day came on an early date this year....
For arrangements I had to settle on decorated rocks with personal messages....

We decorate forty graves each year.....
Starting at the National Cemetery....

Then on to Rosario Cemetery--where we have the most loved ones.....

Dwight cleans our favorite grave.....
Someday we will be here "Under the Elms"....
Happy to be here today....

Day Two of our Memorial remembrances...

Then on to Memorial Gardens....
Dwight cleans more stones....

Fairview Cemetery--once the loveliest in Santa Fe has fallen on dark days....

Then on to Galisteo.....

It is consoling to take a bit of time o remember all those who we loved and who are no longer with us....

Happy Birthday to our beautiful Chiara Feliz--26 years old today!! She has been a true blessing in our lives!!
Time to complete the painting of our old tired cabinets in the final section of the kitchen....
All done and nicely updated!

A group of wild and crazy girls from New York took an early spring escape to Honduras....
To spend some time in this beautiful land....
Enjoy the sights....
Appreciate the ancient culture....

Home base...

And some well-deserved relaxation....

Away from the hustle and bustle of the big city....
The purpose of the trip was to learn some painting techniques for painting murals. I guess it's pretty hot work.
But there was plenty of time for relaxing.
And making friends.....
