This old newspaper clipping of the 1967 Demons was brought to Dwight at the Session. You forget how skinny everyone once was and how short basketball uniforms once were... (Click on image to enlarge photo and text.)
All this Giant Crane talk prompted Zookeeper Kelly to send this photo of Fiona--a Giant Wattled Crane! Fiona weighs only 14 pounds, but she is 5 feet tall!! Thank goodness Santa Fe is safe from an attack by THIS giant crane!!!
The view as I climb up Kearney Street..... Moon over the Royal City.... The Chapel at church had a different look today--note the open doors.... I had never seen these doors open. The Holy Sacrament was on Exposition. The monstrance sat on the little shelf between the angels. I took this picture after the monstrance was taken in procession to the Main Altar. On a totally different matter, this is some signage I am recommending to the city for installation in our refurbished park. I hope it will discourage people from having their dogs relieve themselves right next to our fence.
The Paton Family is up from Albuquerque. New Baby Paton is due in March. " Welcome to my village!" As they are departing, Makenna notices that it's snowing.... Chace (Chase) does a snow dance--haven't these kids ever seen snow before? I guess not!!! Now it's off to the car.... "He ain't heavy, he's my brother!" Back to the car and back to Albuquerque. As it turned out--just in time--this was the start of a major snow storm.
A few photos from the girls' trip to Amsterdam last summer..... Baby Binks poses besides a canal.... It was HOT, and apparently there was a big problem with BUGS. In case you forgot where they were............... Their hosts--friends Keekers made in Japan. She has returned the favor to at least one of her friends by hosting him in NYC around the time of the New Year.
