BIENVENIDOS' FIESTA LUNCHEON 2011
It's time for the Fiesta Season to commence with our first Fiesta event--the Bienvenidos' Fiesta Luncheon..............
Alice is busy as we arrive at Museum Hill early..........
For the Board meeting...................
There's lots to discuss............
And Pat tries to manage it all...........
And everybody has his/her opinion.............
But, eventually, everything works out fine..........
And all the business is completed............
Before feting the Queen and DeVargas............
Ladies and Gents who lunch...........
And a fabulous time was had by all! VIVA LA FIESTA!

TY-QUASIA IN NEW MEXICO--AUGUST 2011
A very lovely young lady, Ty-Quasia, who has been a friend of the girls in New York since she was a very young girl has finally arrived in New Mexico to see what Kiki and Frannie have been talking about all these years......
The New York girls got in first, so we had a warm evening dinner al fresco on Central in Albuqurque to await Binky's plane from San Francisco.............
Kiki filled us in on their airline adventures and we got to meet a lot of New Mexico Roller Derby girls......
Back at the airport we wait and wait for the San Francisco plane........
Don't worry girls, it will be here soon......
And we collect the last of our precious cargo--Baby Binks...............
Next day while the girls show Ty-Quasia the sights of Santa Fe, I prepare for our Barbecue for family and friends to meet our guest and to see the girls..............
Everyone is feeling pretty chipper despite a cloudburst that brought the party inside.............
Even though Bianca hasn't seen Ty-Quasia grow up like the other girls, she is still very fond of her..................
Lots of friendly (well, sort of) faces at the table................
Both sides..................
At least the food was cooked outside..............
Elliott is pretty excited.......................
Because he has a friend of his own here....................
Welcome to you, Ty-Quasia! And welcome home girls!..................
Super heroes!....................
Next morning.........a pretty girl is like a melody.............
Off for a day in Northern New Mexico.................
It's not the Grand Canyon, but the Rio Grande Gorge is pretty impressive..................
and the girls walked way out on the bridge..........................
Then on to the Taos Plaza..................
A painting of the plaza in the Taos La Fonda................
Then, lunch at an outdoor cafe................
And the end of a lovely day. The next day, we left for Ruidoso, so you will have to catch the girls Flicker and Facebook albumns to see Ty-Quasia in Santa Fe, in the Mountains and at the Rodeo. Thanks for visiting Ty-Quasia and we hope to see you again soon!
