Zookeeper Kelly at he Rio Grande Zoo.... At least half of the world's approximately 6,000 amphibian species are threatened with extinction.165 species are believed already to be extinct. 500 more species are threatened to the point that they will not be able to recover on their own in the wild-- outside help from the zoological facilities will be required to save them fro extinction. Zoo keeper Kelly is doing her part by putting the baby toad into a secluded area at the zoo. The Association of Zoos and Aquariums has declared 2008 the " Year of the Frog" .

It's the Sunday after July 4th--the red, white and blue petunias were a gift to Dwight from his staff....
And it's a nice day for a visit from the Paton Family....
Eric is truly enjoying baby Landon....

And Gavin is growing into a fine young man....
But, Baby Landon is the center of attention...
He gets his first taste of pickle--now you've done it!
While Makenna and Chace (Chase) are out on the swing, we find out that the family is relocating to Las Vegas, Nevada. We will miss having them so close in Albuquerque, but are proud of Eric for his ambition and are sure they will flourish in Nevada.
The end of a very nice Sunday...

It's a beautiful morning at Cielo Azul, and the beautiful Topaz is posing on the wall....
And little Mei Toy has gotten all gussies up at the beauty shop.....
And Diana is ready for her shift in the tourist booth. Now that she realizes that Jose Reyes is taking time off from his busy career with the Mets to view her blog, she realizes that her Baby Boy, Derek Jeter will surly be next!
