MORE NEWS ON THE GIANT CRANE FRONT.....

All this Giant Crane talk prompted Zookeeper Kelly to send this photo of Fiona--a Giant Wattled Crane! Fiona weighs only 14 pounds, but she is 5 feet tall!! Thank goodness Santa Fe is safe from an attack by THIS giant crane!!!

The Chapel at church had a different look today--note the open doors....
I had never seen these doors open. The Holy Sacrament was on Exposition. The monstrance sat on the little shelf between the angels. I took this picture after the monstrance was taken in procession to the Main Altar.
On a totally different matter, this is some signage I am recommending to the city for installation in our refurbished park. I hope it will discourage people from having their dogs relieve themselves right next to our fence.

MORE DRYER MADNESS.........

"What is all this commotion about the dryer?"
The dryer is apparently irresistible to felines like Topaz.....
But Tallulah is the mysterious and spooky guardian of the dryer!!!

Eric, Crista, and the kids pay a wintery visit.....

The Paton Family is up from Albuquerque. New Baby Paton is due in March.

As they are departing, Makenna notices that it's snowing....

Chace (Chase) does a snow dance--haven't these kids ever seen snow before?
I guess not!!!
Now it's off to the car....
"He ain't heavy, he's my brother!"
Back to the car and back to Albuquerque. As it turned out--just in time--this was the start of a major snow storm.

WARM SUMMER MEMORIES ON A COLD WINTER'S DAY....
