On a sunny, but sad, morning we gather to say goodbye to Uncle Justy...
We are sad to say goodbye, but happy to celebrate a life-well-lived....
He is escorted by representatives of the U. S. Navy.....
Followed by the immediate family.....
They enter the committal shelter....
A photo of Uncle Justy as a young sailor--his comrades behind the shelter participated in the 21-gun salute....
A few kind and compassionate words....
Folding the flag....

Presentation of the flag in gratitude for Uncle's service to his country....
Ryan has grown about a foot....
Uncle Junior...
The Encinias family...
Everybody loves Aunt Andie!

The reception was held at Uncle's beloved Eagles Club....
Judy greeted the well-wishers....
That "little old meatloaf maker" Kelly....
There were a few movie stars in attendance....

Danny is SERIOUS about his photos....

An armfull of happy.....
Everyone in the family pulled together to provide the refreshments.....
Miss Patricia was on hand from Albuquerque...
Charlene Ortiz....
Cutie pies....

File this under: "There must be somebody for everybody".
Uncle Justy's niece, Cecilia....
File this under: "Amazingly, there seems to be somebody for everybody".
The girls came up early from Albuquerque and organized the food at the Eagles while we were in Mass....
Some Sandoval memoribilia....

Alice happened to run into the boy she went to the Santa Fe High Prom with 95 years ago.....
Mr. Bachicha clenches his fist as he prepares for fisticuffs with this upstart rival for Alice's affections....
To the victor belong the spoils.....
Cecilia looks at Diana with admiration as she sees how Diana protected her weakened hubby from the violence of the fracass.....

Cecilia seems to pop up in the darndest places....

Louie remembers his mother's advice to never accept candy from strangers....
This must be quite a unique angle that the contortionist photographer is achieving....
And how do you like this approach?
Danny is very pleased with his results.....
And is quite the satisfied man....

Theresa Sanchez.....
"Gee, I am SO lucky to have such a brave and resourceful wife....."
Those Elliott Boys--Uncle Justy's grandsons....
Girls just wanna have fun....
Goodbye to Uncle Justy--he will always be remembered with love.
