It's New Year's Eve and we're ready to celebrate!!.................................

As we leave to dinner, Binks is waiting for friends with whom she is welcoming in 2009..........

After a delicious dinner at El Piatto, we ventured downtown to our own Plaza--this is the Washington Avenue side...........

This is the Palace Avenue side...................

Waymon and Eileen have treated us to a great dinner and in the waning hours of 2008, they are joining us in making all our best wishes for the New Year in such a sentimental place........

The plaza is all aglow in her holiday lights.........

"Okay" says Diana, "I wish for every success to our new president and our country in 2009!"......

"I wish we would get out of this f---ing cold!" says Dwight................

"We wish for World Peace".................

The gazebo in winter--remember all the dancing and happy music of those long summer nights?...............

"We wish you all every happiness in 2009!"......
