HAPPY NEW YEAR 2014!
It's New Year's Eve and around the world folks are getting ready to celebrate the start of a brand new year......
Early in the day, the Nativity is still up and being venerated at the Cathedral....
The knave of the church is still resplendent in Holiday attire....
La Conquistadora is still in her Holiday finery.....
And her chapel is still dressed for the season....
Back home, Cielo Azul is still ablaze with holiday trimmings......
And a certain little someone is still being spoiled rotten....
Miss Binks is packing to return home this afternoon, but she takes time to indulge her mother by modeling at least one new outfit for this year's "Capshaw Collection Addendum" later in the summer....
As the day darkens into evening, the candelabrum is still glowing.....
And the fireplace is yet honored by the Holy Family....
And come nighttime, we make our yearly New Year's Eve pilgrimage down to the "carnival of lights" that is the Plaza during the holidays.......
There are lots of folks about--some for the Remberance Ceremony and some for the lighted favorolitos.......
But come midnight..........
The whole world knows what to do......
So "goodbye" to the lonely portal.....
And "Hello" to all the joys and follies that will be ours in 2014!.......
