On June 26th, I celebrated another birthday--#62! Upon viewing photos from the past few years, I realized that I have worn this same dress at least four times on my birthday, so I am officially making it my Birthday Dress. I do still have the same old random (and wrinkled) birthday SUIT, but this is my birthday DRESS..........

Our "Tween" celebration--Waymon always treats us to dinner to celebrate our two birthdays sometime in between mine on June 26th and Dwight's on July 4th. This year, we joined Waymon and Eileen at the Bishop's Lodge...........

But the big news of the early summer is the Montoya Family Annual GARAGE SALE!........

Where we sell our accumulated jink--er....TREASURES.....................

Hey! these folks are BRINGING more stuff!..................

Oh, it's not STUFF, it's our newest cousin--little Issiah with his Mommie and Grandpa. James is just bursting his buttons over this beautiful boy.......................

After all, he IS adorable!................................

Aunt Andie highly approves of her newest great-grandchild...................

And the Garage Sale lumbers on.............

Alice--the true saleswoman in the family--spruces up this western bar that she thinks will sell with just a little TLC...............

Guess who came up from Albuquerque?--Our dear Patricia...................

And the multi-talented Kelly..............

"Looking good, Alice!"--and Yes, she did sell it!..................

The sale in the final hours. It did prove a fantastical financial success and it cleared up lots of space so we can go get more treasurers at other people's garage sales..................

Although I challenge all future garage sale entrepreneurs to come up with customers any cuter than ours!!!.................................

So enjoy all the fun and oddities that may come your way in the early summer because remember the winter is so very long..........................

On a sunny day in June--the wedding of Sara and Josue..............

We are thrilled to attend this event--especially since Sara is one of my top former students...........

A beautiful bride!--who is also brainy. While she was planning this wedding, she was also planning to start Medical School............

A very proud and happy groom.............

The lovely setting of Guadalupe Church. The couple were allowed to hang that beautiful teal colored drape--the Bride's colors are teal and silver...................

Triumphant sounds of the processional by the members of Sara's own All-Female Mariachi Group..................

Down the aisle they come...............

After all, June is the month of weddings..............

Another precious student--Sara's cousin, Danielle.................

Another great former student--Sara's other cousin, Donna--accompanied by her (Donna"s) little niece, Darlene's daughter.............

The Maid of Honor, Sara's beloved sister, Chrystiana..............

A sweet ring bearer...............

And a VERY serious flower girl..................

Here comes the bride!--accompanied by her Mother and her Grandfather. Sara's father passed away about ten years ago and was well remembered today............

Sara is met at the altar by her future husband................

Her favorite Aunt Ana gave one of the readings during Mass.....................

The Mother0of-the-Bride and the Mother-of-the-Groom presented the offering during the Offertory..................

Her "Future Husband" becomes her "Forever Husband"...............

Sara's shiny eyes beam with happiness as she recites her vows................

Yes, THEY do!.....................

Symbolically united by a rosary...................

Signing their license......................

Presenting......................

Sara's Mom and her Grandparents beam on the recessional................

Yeah! a Receiving Line!..............................

Where you can "receive" the best wishes of your guests....................

And catch your breath before the next phase of the celebration.............

This is one of my favorite parts of a wedding because of the high emotional state of being "newly married"...............

Those jubilant Romeros..............

And a loving sister..............

The very happy Bride and Groom............

Sharing the start of a life together..................

Old friends celebrate together.............

As does the entire wedding party.............

Best Wishes for the Bride and Groom: Love, Honor, Cherish, LOVE!

Reception photos to be posted later in the summer..............
