At the Pet Parade on Saturday, we saw a little face that we could not forget, so we contacted the Espanola Animal Shelter to see about meeting the little Pup. Today, Giano and I went to the shelter and met the young lady. She is about 1 year old and is a medium size dog with some beautiful markings and some rather bizarre long wiry fur. She is very sweet and did not want to go back into the shelter, she wanted to stay with us--and so she will! She is getting spayed in the morning and we will pick her up tomorrow afternoon.
When considering names, I said that she was a mix of our black Midori and our white Mei Toy, Dwight suggested a Seinfeldism--"Look to the cookie!" referring to the black-and-white cookie that harmonizes the black and white and that we call her Cookie. Giano added to that with Chito--from biscochito, and since then we have had lots of ideas, if YOU have any suggestions, please leave them here in the comments.

Hi Yani, its Kelly. About names for your new pup, keep this in mind, dogs hear only vowels. Therefore May Toy hears A O E. Madori hears AH O E. Play around with her and vowel sounds...she had a name before and may respond to hard e's or o's etc. But If I were you, I would concentrate on the vowel sounds you haven't used for the others. Try I's. @ Shiner!
