Barack Obama greets his supporters.......There is great enthusiasm to see, hear and TOUCH this inspirational leader..... He reaches towards the stage. The people on stage were not your usual petty politicians, but a mix of folks selected from the crowd--mainly young people.
It is a disturbing fact that 1/4 of the people in the United States have never had a president who is not a Clinton or a Bush. This is a DEMOCRACY!! We need CHANGE!!!
I took this photo just before he shook MY hand. The young man who was standing beside me has been volunteering for about a month now. The traffic to the Community College was at a complete standstill, so he parked his car on Rodeo Road and ran the 2.5 miles to the college. He was rewarded by getting a handshake and hearing the best speech of his life!
